Andrew got his 4 month injections last Thursday. He slept hard for a few hours in the afternoon.

He has begun to love his bath time. He will play in the water for a while.

It was a beautiful day on Saturday. We walked to the park and enjoyed some time in the sunshine.

Andrew enjoys playing in the mirror. Please excuse the burp at the end. We are trying to teach him manners!

Growing so fast!

It is amazing how excited we get over new things Andrew does. Just proud parents I guess! Keep watching, he saved the best for last.

Here are a few new pics as well.

On another note, I was a beautiful sunny day today. We were so hot. I was ready to put on a swimsuit and sit in the sun. Want to know what the temperature was? 75 degrees! We are going to be in trouble when we have to face those Arizona temps.

New Flat

We are moved into our new flat and finally settled. The unpacking took a while. Thank you to our friends who helped us move! We greatly appreciate it. Here are some photos.

Andrew has learned a few new things in the last couple of weeks. He is now grabbing and holding toys. He is also laughing and has discovered he can make a high-pitched squeaking noise. He loves to look in the mirror and talk to the cute boy that he sees. He is very social and loves to be talked with.

Here are two videos of the new sounds Andrew has discovered.

3 months old

Andrew is 3 months old now! Wow, how the time flies. The picture below is the face we see when we go get Andrew in the morning. He used to wake up crying and wanting to be fed right away. Now he wakes up cooing and smiling and likes to play for a few minutes before eating.

Andrew wore a button-up shirt and khaki trousers to church on Sunday. He looked like such a big boy!

Andrew has also started teething! He has one tooth coming in on the bottom and I think another is starting. Could be a few months before they fully come in, but the process has started!

New Videos

Andrew had his 3 month injections yesterday. You wouldn't have known it. He was his normal self. He now weighs 12 pounds 5 ounces and is 23 1/2 inches long. Daddy was very happy about the growth in height as he is hoping for a tall boy.

We had hoped that Andrew would be a football (soccer) player, but it looks like he may have other goals in mind. He has been practicing his boxing moves.

Jason was commenting the other day on how we don't have very many pictures of Andrew and me. He saw a photo opportunity and took advantage of it.

Here is a video of Andrew enjoying his mobile.

We call Andrew's changing mat his "happy place." He is always happy there. He will smile and coo. He also loves to move his legs and arms. Sometimes he will stay there 5-10 minutes moving and kicking.

Andrew's New Achievements

Andrew has found his thumb. I went in to his room Thursday morning and saw him sleeping like this.

This week he started sleeping through the night. On Monday night it was 10:00-5:30. On Tuesday 10:30-7:00. Then on Friday morning he slept until 9:00! This morning it is 8:30 and he is still asleep. Now we just need to get him down before 10:00pm.

Look at the picture below carefully. Do you see where the sheet is? That is where Andrew should be sleeping. He turned himself around in the crib and moved to the other end. We are in trouble when he starts to crawl!

In other news, we are moving again. Our current landlord is selling this flat so our lease will not be renewed. We found a great place yesterday and put in our deposit for it. If we are approved, we will move in mid July. It is farther away from the city center (.8 miles). But it is cheaper and has more space.

Here is a video of Andrew playing with his toy. You can enjoy the music that we listen to all day long.

a couple of videos

Here are 2 new posts.

I have been having fun taking videos of Andrew with our new camera. He is just so cute! Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Jason says the first video is too long, but for Grandmas they can never be too long.

Great Grandma and Papa visit

We have had a busy couple of weeks. Andrew had hernia surgery on Wednesday the 4th. We took him to the doctor on Tuesday to get him checked out. They sent us to the Emergency department at the children's hospital. The surgeon decided Andrew needed surgery. So Andrew and I stayed overnight in the hospital. They were going to do his surgery sometime after 10:00am. He couldn't eat after 4am. We thought the morning was going to be awful because Andrew likes his food and is very impatient about waiting for it. However, he did so good. They did his surgery at 11:45am. They only used local anesthetic so he was able to come home the same day. Even though it was a scary experience, all went very well.

Andrew's Great Grandma and Papa came to visit the day after his surgery. They enjoyed spending time with him and we were able to visit a castle near Aberdeen as well as the city of Edinburgh. It was very warm in Edinburgh (about 70 degrees). The three of us were so hot! Guess we have adjusted to Scotland temps.

Andrew has always been an extremely active baby, even before birth. When we put him on his changing mat he will lay there for 5-10 minutes kicking his legs and moving his arms. We moved him from sleeping in his moses basket to his crib last week. He has been turning sideways in his crib and one night turned 180 degrees. He also turns himself like this when playing on the floor. He is rolling onto his side and really wants to roll all the way over.

Andrew is watching football (soccer) on TV.
