Great Grandma and Papa visit

We have had a busy couple of weeks. Andrew had hernia surgery on Wednesday the 4th. We took him to the doctor on Tuesday to get him checked out. They sent us to the Emergency department at the children's hospital. The surgeon decided Andrew needed surgery. So Andrew and I stayed overnight in the hospital. They were going to do his surgery sometime after 10:00am. He couldn't eat after 4am. We thought the morning was going to be awful because Andrew likes his food and is very impatient about waiting for it. However, he did so good. They did his surgery at 11:45am. They only used local anesthetic so he was able to come home the same day. Even though it was a scary experience, all went very well.

Andrew's Great Grandma and Papa came to visit the day after his surgery. They enjoyed spending time with him and we were able to visit a castle near Aberdeen as well as the city of Edinburgh. It was very warm in Edinburgh (about 70 degrees). The three of us were so hot! Guess we have adjusted to Scotland temps.

Andrew has always been an extremely active baby, even before birth. When we put him on his changing mat he will lay there for 5-10 minutes kicking his legs and moving his arms. We moved him from sleeping in his moses basket to his crib last week. He has been turning sideways in his crib and one night turned 180 degrees. He also turns himself like this when playing on the floor. He is rolling onto his side and really wants to roll all the way over.
