Rosemarkie Beach/The Black Isle

The second day of our car rental, we toured the Black Isle. First we met some friends at Rosemarkie Beach. We weren't sure what to wear since we didn't know what the weather was going to do. Both kids ended up in bare feet with wet and sandy clothes, but we had a great time.

After the beach, we drove on to a village called Cromarty. We enjoyed warm drinks and treats in a cafe and wandered around the village.

Trip to Ullapool

We rented a car last week and took a day trip to Ullapool, which is on the west coast. It was a cloudy, gray day but was dry. We enjoyed some amazing fish and chips. Then we went to an area that had a beach and a light house.

On Saturday we went to a park in Inverness. We rented a boat and had fun cruising around the pond.

First Warm Day

Last Sunday was a gorgeous sunny day. We spent all afternoon outside (except Kate who slept the whole time).

Andrew's 3rd Birthday

Andrew turned 3 on the 1st of April. Our friends from Aberdeen came up for the weekend to celebrate with us.
