8 Months Old!

The boy has had a few posts lately so now it's the girl's turn.

Here are the many faces of Kate. Can you see her two top teeth?!?

Kate has been crawling since the beginning of September but I have just now managed to catch it on video. She is also pulling up on furniture and has even moved from one piece of furniture to another. She is very daring and determined!


Kate was very confused the other day by this singing dog that we have. She wasn't sure what to make of it. Sorry this video is long. The end is the best part.

Andrew loves singing songs. Today I managed to get videos of him singing three different ones. Unfortunately it was while he was eating lunch so forgive the messy face and mouth full of food. You have to capture these moments when you get them!

Our Boy

Our sweet boy is a bundle of energy with a great sense of humor. He loves singing and dancing. He likes to act out scenes from his Barney dvds. Maybe we have a Broadway star on our hands! He also likes to do what the grown-ups do (hence the photo below).

Andrew is no longer taking an afternoon nap. However, on occasion if he sits down to watch TV he will fall asleep. He looks so peaceful!

Kate is 7 months old now. She is sitting up well on her own and is nearly crawling. She moves backwards better than forwards. She is doing well eating solid food and drinking from a cup. But don't you dare try to take the cup or her toothbrush away from her!

Kate rolled over a few days ago. I was out on a walk and missed it! Grandpa was very excited that he was the first one to see her roll.
