We rented a boat today and enjoyed some time on the lake. Andrew loved the water.

Baby Carrots

We have been talking with Andrew about daddy, mummy, and baby animals and how they look different. Well, we were eating baby carrots with dinner and Andrew asked for "more daddy carrots."

First few days in the States

The kids and I survived the trip to the States. It has taken a few days to get their sleep patterns back on schedule. We have enjoyed swimming in the lake and playing in Andrew's plastic pool. We have only taken a few pictures so far.

I left Andrew and Kate in the living room to quickly go to the kitchen. This is what I returned to...Andrew had kindly dumped a whole basket of toys in her ring for her to play with.


In this video Kate is not doing anything special...just being her cute self. I was trying to get her rolling over, but of course she stopped trying as soon as I started taking a video.

A couple of weekends ago it was warm and sunny. Andrew enjoyed playing outside in his pool. It was about 75 degrees and it felt really warm to us!

For Grandpa

Today is my dad's birthday. I have thought about it for two weeks. Andrew even started making a card. However, I failed to send anything. (Is taking care of two children a good enough excuse?) So hopefully this will make up for it.
