Our Growing Girl and Her Loving Brother

Kate is changing so quickly. Here are some pics of her practicing sitting up and having some tummy time. She has also started grabbing at toys and holding onto them. She has discovered her tongue and loves to stick it out.

Andrew is trying to put on Kate's bib. I know what you are thinking..."Why are you taking pictures? Hurry up and help the poor girl!" It looks worse than it was :)

He likes to use her toys. He doesn't like the fact that he can't use some of her things, such as her bouncy seat, ring, and her crib. I've been trying to explain that he is too big and will break them!

Andrew has discovered how wonderful chocolate chip cookies are. He and daddy licked the beaters and then enjoyed some cookies.



Andrew and Mummy enjoyed splashing in puddles a few weeks ago. As often as we get rain, we might as well find a way to enjoy it!!

Enjoying Some Spring Weather...Almost

Last Friday we went to a children's farm were we could feed and pet the animals.






We have had a few days of warm sunshine. On this day we were playing in the garden. But the warmth was short lived. This week we have had cold wind and snow flurries.

Daffodils

The daffodils are in full bloom and we are having gorgeous sunny weather. We have taken pictures in the daffodils every year since Andrew was born. So we found a spot again this year to take some more. Andrew is not very cooperative these days with pictures. So we just take them and hope he might look up in one or two!




I have mentioned before Andrew's love of jumping. He is not afraid of heights and very bold in his jumps. Here he is caught in action during his latest jumping adventure.



Kate fell asleep under her play gym yesterday. So peaceful!

Birthday Boy!

Andrew turned 2 on April 1st! We sang happy birthday to him when he woke up.


Mummy and Daddy gave him a bike and Gigi and Papa gave him a sand tray. Gramms and Papa sent him Barney cards which he has been taking to bed with him!

New Photos and Videos

Kate is now smiling and cooing. She is starting to be awake more during the day. She is sleeping between 6 and 8 hours at night. Here are some recent photos.


Andrew loves to help with Kate. Here he is covering her with a blanket. He also tries to put bibs on her and wipes her mouth when she spits up.

Our friends from Aberdeen came to visit a few weeks ago. They left on Sunday afternoon when Andrew was sleeping. When he woke up, he was asking for them. He went to the door at one point to look outside for them. It was really cute. I love the way he says "Aberdeen" in this video.

We were sitting at dinner and Andrew wanted to sing "The Turtle Song." I started singing and Jason and my mom were doing the actions. Andrew was laughing hysterically at Jason, which of course got us all laughing.


We've been teaching Andrew about the essential things in life.


I've mentioned before how Andrew loves to jump. We were at a friend's house and she has a trampoline. He loved it.
