Energetic Boy

Andrew's friend came over to play yesterday. He was very excited to have someone to play with and was full of energy. They enjoyed playing with his house.




Here is Andrew in his waterproof suit for nursery. This way they can still enjoy outside time when it is raining.

Andrew loves playing with the pots, pans, and wooden spoons. He is actually obsessed with it. Don't even think about trying to take the wooden spoon away from him! He discovered how to get into the cupboards about a week ago and it has been good entertainment ever since. There is a role-play kitchen area at his nursery where he enjoys playing also.

We bought Andrew a new buggy on Saturday. We needed one that was smaller, lighter weight, and therefore easier to travel with. I was opening the box to pull the buggy out. Jason said, "Look at Andrew." I looked up to see Andrew sitting on top of the box. The climbing has begun! We also bought a travel cot, so Andrew had two boxes to play with.

Andrew is celebrating with Daddy.


Our prayers have been answered. Jason will have both of the readers for his Thesis that he was hoping for and his Viva is scheduled for September. We serve a faithful God.

Andrew's Newest Achievement

The lovely blanket is over the coffee table to keep Andrew from putting dents in it. He loves to bang things on it to make noise.

Saturday we walked to Duthie Park. On the way we found a field of daffodils and had fun taking pictures.

Trip to Stirling

This past Tuesday we went on a day trip to Stirling Castle with Gigi and Grandpa. It was a cold, rainy day but we made the most of it.

Andrew is doing really well with feeding himself. We help him get the food on the spoon but he does the rest. Gigi has been laughing at his huge bites.

Andrew's 1st Birthday

Andrew turned 1 on the 1st of April. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. On Saturday he took his first steps! It was so exciting.

My friend Judith and I made a lion cake for Andrew's party.

We had friends over on Saturday for a BBQ and cake. Andrew tried the cake but wasn't really interested. He did like the shortbread biscuit (cookie) that his Gigi gave him.
