Videos of Iain

Iain is growing and changing so fast! He is already 19 weeks old. He loves to smile. He also likes to be spoken to and to speak back. He has the cutest laugh. Here are videos of him laughing.

He rolled over for the first time the other day.

It looks like he is going to be a red head! We shall see...

Birth of Iain James

So I am late in posting this, but I've been a bit busy!
Iain James Maston was born on May 19th at 8.45pm. He weighed 7pounds 3ounces. He had a rough start with feeding. He and mummy were back in hospital for 4 days because he had lost a lot of weight. However, he is doing fine now.
First time meeting Andrew and Kate
 The boys!
Andrew and Kate love to hug and kiss him.
 Our family of 5!

Iain is 11 weeks old

Iain is smiling and cooing. It is so fun to interact with him.
This pouty face sure pulls the heart strings!
Kate playing Great Grandpa's harmonica for Iain.
During a car ride, Kate was helping by giving Iain his dummy. She fell asleep laying across his car seat!
                                         Our sweet boy cooing
We think Iain might be a red head. Watch this space!

Andrew rode his bike without stabilisers (training wheels) for the first time on Sunday. He did great! He was definitely ready.

Our Little Singers

This video is for Granny. She wanted to know if Andrew still enjoyed singing and making up songs. Yes, he does.  Although this one doesn't make much sense!

Here is Kate singing "Away in a Manger."

Christmas Fun

Saturday morning Andrew made a manger scene with his Legos. He got his inspiration from a picture in a book he has. The only part I was confused about was the elephant and airplane engine that are in the back. When I asked him what they were, he said they were the grey brick wall that is the back of the stable. They are both grey...so that makes sense! I love to see Andrew's creative side!
Andrew and Kate were in their first church Nativity on Sunday. Kate was an angel and Andrew was a sheep. They both did really well. Andrew was a very confident singer. Kate was a  modern day Angel with her bright green mobile phone (which she somehow snuck in from the back hall)! Guess she was planning to phone the shepherds to announce Jesus' birth.
The kids loved decorating our Christmas tree. They had fun seeing which ornaments belonged to them.

Olympic Torch in Inverness

We saw the Olympic Torch Relay in Inverness yesterday. We had a great time.

A policeman commented on Andrew's tiger face painting.  Lots of people commented on it.

Another policeman gave Kate a high-five.
